01 First steps

Go to chamet.chat and tap Start match. A guest session opens straight away, so there is no form to complete. Choose your mode on the match screen first. The longer walkthrough sits on how Chamet works.

02 Black screen or silent call

• Refresh the page first.
• Tap the padlock next to the web address and allow camera and microphone for chamet.chat.
• Quit any other app or tab that might be holding the camera.
• On a phone, open the phone's settings and confirm your browser has permission for the camera and mic.
• Still stuck? Try another browser.

03 Waiting longer than usual

When few people are online, the matcher needs a few extra seconds to find someone in your chosen mode. Give it another go or change mode, since text tends to pair quickest in the small hours. A shaky connection also adds delay.

04 Free matches and coins

New arrivals start with a few free matches, and bonus ones keep coming from the Reward Center while you stay connected. Once those run out, matches use coins. If coins you bought did not show up, email us the date and your receipt. Everything about pricing is on is Chamet free.

05 Talking to someone again

Hit follow before hanging up and you can write to them afterwards. The random matcher has no way to reconnect you on purpose.

06 Chamet on a phone

You do not need a store download. Load chamet.chat in Safari or Chrome and give it a home screen icon; the Chamet app page has the steps.

07 Accounts, lost history and deleting

Wiping site data logs a guest out. Connecting a sign-in keeps coins and follows safe. To delete an account, email [email protected] from the linked address or include your nickname.
